This title alone makes us ask ourselves, “Mind, what are you thinking?” When a thought comes to our mind and we can’t immediately discern its origin, we ask ourselves … Is this thought “of God,” “the devil - not of God” or my flesh? We should be able to discern if it doesn’t line up with the Word of God. If we can’t discern immediately, don’t dwell on that thought, because the devil is very deceptive. He knows how to sugar coat things, so what I have learned to do is speak God’s word.
This scripture; 2 Corinthians 10:5 is very effective in separating the part that was meant for evil, yet keeps the good part, so that we may learn from it. I know that this scripture is very effective, because first God said so (Hebrews 4:12 and 2 Timothy 3:16) and it has worked in my life every time.
