The Power of Being Intentional

The Power of Being Intentional

Aligning Our Thoughts with the Word of God:
The Power of Being Intentional: Week 1
Scripture:
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." — Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)
Reflection:
Today's verse reminds us of the importance of being mindful of God's Word. By meditating on scripture, we can gain His wisdom and understand His voice, which gives us strength to navigate through life's challenges. Let's commit to daily Bible study, listening to what God is saying to us, and reflecting on His Word so we can be intentional in our actions.
If we are not intentional about pursuing God, His Word, and His ways, we risk allowing the devil to steal, kill, and destroy in our lives. This happens through the focus of our thoughts and what receives most of our attention. We must consider their motives: Do their words and actions align with the Word of God? Remember, God is not a man—He does not lie! Whatever we give the majority of our attention to will be reflected in our actions. Amen!
