Scripture(s):
Genesis 17:2 (AMP) — “I will establish My covenant (everlasting promise) between Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly [through your descendants].”
Joel 2:25-26 (KJV) — "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed."
Psalm 103:1-2 (NKJV) — "Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits."
Isaiah 51:3 (KJV) — "For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody."
Reflection:
God is in the business of restoration—He restores years, opportunities, relationships, and even broken dreams. When life seems to have stripped away what you once had, God’s promise stands firm: He will restore. His restoration is not partial but full, bringing back what was lost in abundance. Look at Job—after his season of suffering, God restored twice as much to him (Job 42:10). The same is true for you. Every trial, loss, or disappointment is an opportunity for God to reveal His faithfulness in restoration.
💡Declare restoration over your life! Write down areas where you need God’s restoration and begin to speak His Word over them daily.
