Manifesting the Will of God: Week 3
Scripture(s):
Genesis 1:28 (KJV): "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."
Matthew 6:10 (KJV): "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."
Romans 8:19 (KJV): "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God."
Mark 4:14 (AMPC): "The sower sows the Word."
1 John 3:8-9 (AMPC): "[But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done]. No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God’s nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God."
Reflection:
Manifesting the will of God begins with understanding that we were created to have dominion, be fruitful, and reflect His glory on earth. By aligning our lives with His Word and His purpose, we actively bring His Kingdom to earth as it is in heaven.
The Word of God, as a seed, must be sown in our hearts and lives for His will to manifest through us. As sons and daughters of God, creation eagerly awaits the revealing of His glory in us. Sin no longer has dominion because the divine nature of God dwells within us, empowering us to live victoriously and undo the works of the enemy.
To manifest the will of God, we must daily sow His Word, trust in its power, and act in faith. Through this, His will is not just a concept but a reality, transforming our lives and the world around us.
💡 Reflect on Matthew 6:10 and identify an area in your life where God’s will needs to take center stage. Sow His Word into that area through prayer, action, and faith. Be intentional about walking in obedience and watch as His Kingdom manifests through you.
