Jude 1:20 (KJV): "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost."
Reflection:
Discernment is a powerful gift from God that equips us to distinguish His will from the enemy’s deceptions. It is the ability to see beyond what is presented, guided by the Holy Spirit into all truth. Faith plays a vital role in this journey, acting as a shield to extinguish the fiery arrows of doubt, fear, and temptation that the enemy launches at us. Without discernment, we risk following paths that may seem right but ultimately lead to destruction.
The Spirit of Truth, the Holy Ghost, not only reveals the things of God but strengthens our most holy faith as we pray and rely on Him. Each decision we make must be filtered through the Word of God and by faith to ensure we remain on the path of righteousness. Discernment isn’t just about avoiding sin; it’s about embracing the abundant life God has for us and stepping boldly into His purpose with confidence and clarity.
💡 Spend time reflecting on John 16:13 and allow the Holy Spirit to highlight areas in your life where discernment is needed. Pray in the Spirit, asking for divine guidance and clarity in your decision-making. With faith as your shield, commit to walking in obedience to God’s Word and trusting Him to reveal truth in every situation. Let discernment and faith work together to strengthen your walk in the Kingdom of God.
