Acknowledging the Power of God: Week 1

Scripture(s):

Hosea 4:6 (NKJV): "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV): "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."

Ephesians 1:17-18 (KJV): "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints."

John 10:10 (KJV): "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

Reflection:

God’s power is limitless, and His desire is for us to live in the abundance of His Kingdom. However, without the knowledge of His Word and the wisdom it imparts, we risk falling prey to deception and destruction. When we trust in God wholeheartedly and align our understanding with His truth, we are enlightened to see His glorious plans and the rich inheritance He has prepared for us.

The enemy’s goal is to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give us life in abundance. Acknowledging the power of God requires not only faith but also a deliberate effort to trust Him in every aspect of our lives. By doing so, we can walk boldly in His victory and become beacons of hope and truth to others.

💡 Meditate on Ephesians 1:17-18 this week, asking God to open the eyes of your understanding and fill you with wisdom. Reflect on His abundant promises and take time to share His power and love with someone in need of encouragement or clarity in their faith.
